Welcome to Glick Periodontics
COVID-19 UPDATE: OFFICE CLOSURE
We have just received notification from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario advising all dental offices to suspend all non-essential and elective dental services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This directive is effective immediately and will be re-evaluated in April. Therefore, until further notice we will be temporarily closing our office.
If you have an appointment scheduled in March please consider it cancelled. We will be in touch to reschedule as soon as we know more details. We are so sorry for the inconvenience this will cause but truly appreciate your understanding and patience during these uncertain times.
We will be monitoring phones and emails during the office closure, although on a reduced schedule. Please do not show up at the office as our doors will be closed.
Contact the office in case you are experiencing a dental emergency. A dental emergency involves severe pain, swelling and infection. If you are unsure of how to manage your concern, please send us an email message at firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo, if possible, and description of the emergency so we can help. We will be monitoring and responding to emails. We can also be reached through the office phone number.
Alternatively, there will be several dental emergency clinics, which will remain opened.
We are truly sorry again for any inconvenience this may cause but our primary concern is your safety and the safety of our staff. We look forward to serving you on our regular schedule as soon as possible.

Why did your dentist refer you to a periodontist?
Your general dentist has determined that you and your gums would benefit from special care by a periodontist. PERIODONTISTS are dentists that have undergone 3 years of additional education following dental school to become specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and implant therapy. In being referred to a specialist in periodontology, your dentist has shown a keen commitment to you and your overall oral health. We work closely with your dentist to ensure healthy and long lasting results.
